Lucky for all of us who enjoy outdoor activities from the mountains to the sea: air quality in Hawaii ranks up there with Wyoming, in the top 5 for first class breathable air. Even with the Volcano’s continuous efforts our trade winds hustle those particles and clouds away.

Kakaako is the new place to be in Honolulu. *Walkability* is the buzz word for this neighborhood with the hip vibe. A new Whole Foods market is coming; there is plenty of shopping and delicious eating available.

Lots of towers going up and a very few townhouse options in Kakaako. The projects have drawn buyers from the Kahala neighborhood and the more mature buildings in town.

Heavy advertising has resulted in gargantuan sales from both local and off island buyers. Many of the building are sold out. Some of the completed construction have resales.

A bonus: Kahala has more inventory for sale than for the past decade plus.

One of the wonders of living in Hawaii: rainbows abound.

Rainbows span a continuous spectrum of colors. Rainbows can be caused by many forms of airborne water, including rain, mist, spray, and airborne dew.

In a primary rainbow, the arc shows red on the outer part and violet on the inner side. This rainbow is caused by light being refracted when entering a droplet of water, then reflected inside on the back of the droplet and refracted again when leaving it.

In a double rainbow, a second arc is seen outside the primary arc, and has the order of its colors reversed, with red on the inner side of the arc.

Hawaiian Rainbows = Pure Magic!

This is but one of our trips as Realtors looking at inventory for prospective buyers.

We spend many hours looking at homes for both our sellers and buyers. This keeps us current on not just the availability of homes but we gauge the temperature of the activity so we may report to you accurately.

Dale, Margaret and I went to the North Shore Regional meeting and afterwards viewed this cute gem just a short block from Haleiwa beach park, harbor, and good surf. Email me for specifics about this property, or ask about something that fulfills your very own Wish List!
